Pelargonium graveolens (Egypt)
Geranium essential oil is commonly produced in Egypt. The crop is planted in October/ November, and a single harvest of the whole aerial part is made in June, when the plant is blossoming. Its main chemical constituents of geranium oil include eugenol, geranic, citronellol, geraniol, linalool, citronellyl formate, citral, myrtenol, terpineol, methone and sabinene.
Method of extraction: Steam distilled
